Clear boundaries
support good care.
These policies help protect the focused, respectful care offered to every Anchor Flow patient.
Appointments
All visits are by appointment. A valid payment card may be required to reserve an appointment. New patients complete intake and consent forms before treatment.
The first acupuncture session is 75 minutes, and follow-up acupuncture sessions are 60 minutes.
Changes & cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the full scheduled fee. Genuine emergencies are considered case by case.
Illness & safety
Do not come to the clinic with fever, vomiting, a new contagious illness or symptoms that could make an in-person visit unsafe. Contact the office as early as possible. An eligible consultation may be switched to telehealth, rescheduled or referred for medical evaluation.
The clinic may ask any person with respiratory symptoms to wear a well-fitting mask.
Communication
Email and text are for scheduling and brief logistical questions. They are not appropriate for emergencies, detailed medical assessment or highly sensitive information. Clinical questions may require a follow-up appointment so they can receive proper attention and documentation.
Privacy & forms
Do not send protected health information through the public contact form. Intake, consent and clinical information should be shared through the practice’s designated privacy-appropriate system.
Email marketing and third-party scheduling services are governed by their own privacy practices.
Accessibility & comfort
Contact the practice before booking to discuss mobility, sensory, communication, language, support-person or other access needs. We will be transparent about what can be accommodated and help identify alternatives when needed.
Ask before you book.
If a policy affects your ability to receive care, please reach out so the practice can discuss options.
